The last 48 hours in Japan have been very scenic for me (with more tasty food thrown in for good measure). Yesterday I visited the Imperial Palace in Tokyo which has a very large Japan style garden.
Today I made a trip to Hakone, which is a mountainous area within the borders of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. There were hot springs, a cedar forrest, snow, lakes and of course, Mount Fuji. I ate two of the infamous black eggs which tasted no different to any other boiled egg.
On a side note, I took 8 different forms of transport today, including the Shinkansen which was so impressive.
